I am not much of a golfer myself but many will know that Portugal has a lot to offer to Golf lovers. You can find roughly 20 golf courses within a maximum 50 minute drive from the villa. Many of these are great championship courses. The villa is also within easy reach of the southern part of the Silver Coast so one might want to keep this in mind when searching for golf courses on the Internet.

 

 

The table below will give you an indication of some of the many golf courses which are close to the villa. I would suggest that you do not rely on these ratings to select your desired golf course. You are better off doing your own own research given that I have never been golfing in these places myself.

Vimerio Golf Course	Designed by the famous English golf architect Frank Pennick, the Vimeiro Golf – Course is 2.350m and has 9 holes. It is located by the Alcabrichel River where its spacious fairways and reduced size greens stand out well protected by bunkers. Being a relatively short golf-course in length it still offers various challenges as tested in holes 1,2,8 and 9.	9	Good	19 KM
